Description  

Sharing the story of the past is an essential aspect of archaeology. Help us uncover the stories of miners who eked out a living in northwestern Nevada during the Great Depression of the 1930s, and engage in communicating this information to the general public. Costs / Living Conditions
Room and Board arrangements Field School is limited to 10 students. Program Cost of $1511.00 includes tuition, fees, food while in the field, and transportation to and from Reno and the field school site. Students are responsible for providing their own personal camping gear. Students will be camping in the northern Nevada desert.

Cultural Resource Survey (Pre-solicitation South Carolina)
The USDA Forest Service, Sumter National Forest in South carolina has a requirement for a Cultural Resource Survey on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District. The project will cover approximately 1,942 acres in 72 timber stands.
