Tetra Tech growing CRM program is seeking 30+ technicians and several Crew Chiefs for projects in ME, VT, NY, OH, PA, MD. Work is beginning immediately and expected to last several months. There is the possibility of additional work with Tetra Tech on a project by project basis and potential permanent placement within Tetra Tech’s Cultural Resources Services Group.
Candidates must be able to travel and conduct fieldwork for long hours, in sometimes inclement weather conditions or rugged terrain. Knowledge and experience with archaeological survey and excavation techniques and methodology is required. Individuals should also be familiar with the use of sub-meter GPS equipment.
Prerequisites for Crew Chiefs include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology or related field and at least 3 years experience at supervisory level. Field Technicians include a minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field, as well as participation in a Field School. Competitive hourly rate based upon experience. Per diem is provided for most projects.
