Job Description

Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, Inc., an employee-owned provider of heritage management consulting services, solicits applications for a branch manager. The qualified candidate will have a graduate degree in an environmental field, five years of environmental consulting experience at the senior level, knowledge of cultural resource services and how they are provided to comply with NHPA and NEPA; and very strong business and administration skills. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of cultural resource consulting and have environmental compliance consulting experience in Colorado’s Front Range.

This job requires managing an office of 10-15 professional and support, full- and part-time, employees engaged in cultural resource consulting. Branch managers are fully responsible for all operational aspects of the office including administration, marketing, staffing, project management, performance, and facilities management with corporate support and overall coordination. Growth and development of the office is expected. Branch managers report to the chief operating officer and directly supervise project, support, and administrative staff based in the office.

This is a senior-level salaried position with a base salary of $75,000 plus equity and performance bonuses. The benefits package includes equity through the employee stock program, vacation and holiday pay, health benefits, and a publication bonus.
