Northwest Archaeological Associates, Inc is currently seeking to expand our staff. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience in cultural resources studies and project management. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects; supervising background research, survey and excavation field work and laboratory analysis, and producing quality reports.
Minimum qualifications are an M.A. in archaeology/anthropology, with 2-3 years of field experience. Experience in the western United States and with transportation-related projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with federal heritage laws and experience with completing Section 106 assessment studies is very important. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to complete a job in a timely and efficient manner are extremely important. Demonstrated experience in directing field crews and producing quality reports. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential, a sense of humor a must.
