Job Description
Thunderbird Archeology, a division of Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (one of the leading environmental consulting firms in the DC metro area) has immediate openings for four archeological field technicians. The work will consist of Phase I and Phase II investigations within Loudoun County, Virginia and is expected to last approximately four months, possibly longer. The positions are temporary. A 40 hour or greater work week is anticipated but not guaranteed. Only individuals within commuting distance of Loudoun County will be considered, as no per diem or mileage will be paid.
The applicants must have at least a B.A. in Anthropology, Archeology (preferably) or other related field and have prior archeological experience, possess a strong work ethic and the desire to gain
experience in different aspects of cultural resource management.
