Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. is seeking to expand its full-time staff of Principal Investigators and Senior Staff Archaeologists. We are looking for archaeologists to manage and/or direct both large and small-scale projects and play a key role in collaborative scholarship. Qualifications include a Masters or Doctorate, excellent writing skills, and experience with all levels of excavation, survey, analysis, and documentation. Far Western is one of the largest archaeological firms in the western United States, and has a track record of innovative research within a cultural resource management context. Our archaeologists are encouraged to conduct independent research, and receive company support to present professional papers and publish scholarly articles. What Lies Beneath? Native American Tribes of the Boise, Idaho Archaeological Record And a Site in the Boise Foothills Tests have confirmed the dates and the fact that the artifacts, found in the Boise foothills near the Table Rock plateau, came from the same source of obsidian as the Squaw/Timber Butte location, east of Payette and North from Boise.
