Pacific Legacy, Inc., a Cultural Resources Management firm, has an immediate opening in its Berkeley (California) office for a GISTechnician.
Candidates must have an Associate’s degree or higher in GIS. Experience with Archaeology or related field is a plus. Requires proficiency with ARC View, Word, and experience working with graphics, preferably Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Demonstrable experience working with GIS is required. One year of experience in the Great Basin and California, and Nevada is preferred but not required dependent on GIS skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Job Duties and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:
• Be proficient in ARC View;
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop;
• Experience with Trimble GPS units;
• Familiar with GPS Pathfinder Office a plus;
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word;
• Be detail oriented;
Compensation: Salary determined based on experience. Excellent benefits after a qualification period.
