Job Description

Pacific Legacy, Inc., a cultural resources management firm celebrating more than 17 years of success in the western United States and the Pacific Basin, is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to support our continuing growth. The Business Development Manager will build market share by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. The main goals for the business development position are to grow the company by identifying new markets; expanding within existing markets; and overseeing proposal production.

The Business Development Manager will have an understanding of the marketing-related needs of a CRM firm or a more diversified environmental consulting firm and a marketing background. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience and be able to demonstrate their contribution to the growth of firms at which they have worked in the past. A B.A. or graduate degree in an environmental or business discipline is expected. Job duties carried out in coordination with Pacific Legacy management will include market analysis, marketing to existing and new clients, oversee and coordinate proposal preparation, and forge new partnerships with other CRM firms, and assessing client satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to historic preservation and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. The Business Development Manager will must be able to work closely with other managers and staff at Pacific Legacy, assuming a leadership role in organizing business development in concert with other technical and business initiatives.
