SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
POSITION OPENING
TIERRA RIGHT OF WAY SERVICES, New Mexico

Tierra Right of Way Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Project Director) for our Environmental Planning and Cultural Resources Division in New Mexico. Successful candidate can work out of our Albuquerque or Santa Fe office. Tierra has been conducting cultural resource projects since 1993 and environmental compliance since 2000. The Division Director, the Principal Investigator, and the Senior Biologist have each been employed at Tierra for approximately the past 10 years. Tierra is committed to meeting our customer’s land service needs in the highest quality manner, delivered with the highest ethical and professional standards.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Division Director, who works from Tierra’s Corporate Headquarters in Tucson, this position will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of cultural and environmental compliance projects. Successful marketing and business development are key requirements of this position.

Responsibilities include project management, marketing, business development, budget and schedule development and management, proposal writing, staff supervision, fieldwork, and report writing/review. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Salary range is $65-85k/year and is dependent on education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Professionals with a background in archaeology, biology, or environmental planning. Minimum of 10 years experience working on cultural and/or environmental compliance projects in New Mexico. Knowledge of NEPA, Section 106, and associated NM statutes are essential. Candidates should also have established relationships in the archaeological and environmental communities in New Mexico and surrounding states.

MA/MS or PhD in Anthropology/Archaeology, Biology, or Environmental Planning preferred.
